Advertising is dead.
As a guy that got his start in commercials (with the Emmy and Clios to prove it) that isn’t an easy thing for Chris to say, but unfortunately it’s the truth. Traditional advertising doesn’t work and is being left in the wake of digital. RIP.
The good news is that social media has provided us with a myriad of ways to promote ourselves – you just need to know the tricks to do it effectively.
Tell your story.
Running traditional ads is disruptive to the user experience and more often than not can create a negative association with a brand. People rely more on peer reviews and social buzz.
So how do you boost your social media presence and market to gain influence and exposure? Tell your brand story and increase your value. Understand the user journey and build awareness organically.
Learn the why, what and how.
